Maria Masucci Role in RUBICON: Stefano Gastaldello completed his doctoral research in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Pathology at the Biomedical and Sperimental Science Department at the University of Padua (Italy) with a doctoral thesis entitled “Reconstitution of sarcoglycan complex in HEK293 cells. Study three alpha-sarcoglycan mutation observed in LGMD-2D”. In February 2007 joined the group to work on deubiquitin enzymatic activity in Epstein-Barr virus infected cells.
