General description: The main interest of the group is based on developmental processes in multicellular organisms that are governed by ubiquitin. Current research addresses the molecular mechanism of polyubiquitin chain assembly in physiologically relevant pathways. Beside protein aggregation diseases, the lab is interested in the interplay between protein homeostasis and aging/longevity.
