General description:
Structure/function relations of proteins involved in cell cycle, transmembrane signal transduction and the maintenance of DNA-integrity studied by X-ray crystallography.

Role in RUBICON:
Structural analysis of the E2/E3/SUMO complexes and characterization of SUMO acceptor sites context. Identification, functional characterization and structural analysis of selected DUB catalytic domain complexes and development of small molecule inhibitors.
