The RUBICON education program aims to provide advanced training for PhD students and postdoctoral fellows from members laboratories but will also be open to external applicants in order to enhance the interactions with the scientific community and increase awareness and interest in the area of ubiquitin research

RUBICON offers two types of training activities
A post-doctoral programme
The programme provides research opportunities for three-year multicentre research projects. Investigators in this programme will work on collaborative projects involving at least two RUBICON partner labs.
Advanced training courses in the area of ubiquitin research
The courses will be held by speakers/tutors from RUBICON laboratories and international leaders in the field. The course will be open primarily to PhD students and Postdoctoral fellows from NoE laboratories. Each course will accept up to 30 participants and some position reserved to external applicants. When appropriate, members of the public will be admitted to all or part of the activities.
 | Advanced lecture courses one or two weeks full-time studies and credits will be given according to the rules of the host institutions. Teachers will be scientists of the network who will provide overviews of selected areas of research. The students will be actively involved through journal clubs, project works and poster presentations.

 | Method courses aim to accelerate the dissemination of advanced methodologies, which will promote the optimal use of shared core facilities within the network. These courses will also promote training of special expertise such as bioinformatics, RNA interference etc.
